Jewels has a way with words, and a heart of gold, and I'm here to tell you that her children are absolutely delightful. I'm thrilled to be welcoming them into our home for the next several days.
Autumn made homemade gifts for each of them.
A quilt for Joe,
and shawls for Rosie and Julia.
We were honored to be able to share Julia's birthday with her today.
The evening went late with Apples to Apples,
and Words with Friends.
Can't wait for tomorrow!

How very good of the Lord to bless us with one of the sweetest of this life's gifts~~dear friends to be blessed in coming to know and growing to love. Thanks so much, Tracy, for in your lovely sharings bringing even those of us that couldn't come, along. So thoughtful. So kind. A something special that means a great deal. Though a little slow in saying so {I often think no one could possibly be more behind in the writing of saying so-s than me. And, well, I do believe I'm probably right}, but it's what my heart's been holding in and waiting to say right along. xo
