In the Home Stretch

I'm off to a quilt retreat in the morning, and I'm thankful for the time to get away and sew with friends. I've been working on the last 12 blocks for Mary Lou's Magical Mystery Tour quilt, and I'm hoping to have it put together by the time I come home. Oh, and I desperately need to work on my Farmer's wife blocks, too. I'll be keeping plenty busy!

Every spare minute this week has been spent in the sewing room. It's a ton of work just getting ready to go! Lots of coffee in my new mug means lots of potty breaks, too.

My faithful companion, Lucy. Isn't she getting big? Isn't she adorable? She lays at my feet, and every little while, she gets up to give me some sugar. LOVE! Too bad I can't bring her on the retreat with me.

Lucy is beautiful! Emily would love to dog sit for you. :-) That is going to be a beautiful quilt when you are finished, Tracy. Have a great time!

WOW! Loved your chicken posts. I wandered through all of those.
We became the proud owners of 4 chickens about 6 weeks ago. They were already laying.
I am like you, I can't believe how much fun they are and how much I love them!
