The pattern came from a quilting magazine, which I've misplaced or gotten rid of at this point, and I can't remember the name of the pattern, but as I hung it on the line to photograph it, Pink Lemonade was all I could think of. Sweet and tart at the same time.
The back is just plain white, which shows off the hand-quilting quite nicely. Though the stitches are far from perfect, it's done, and on her bed tonight.
Now to make a dust ruffle, curtains, and a pillow sham.

Did you hand quilt that? So beautiful! What a gift of love....an heirloom to pass down to a daughter of her own....
You are amazing.

Deanna,
Yes, I did hand-quilt it. Hence, the long time in finishing it!
I have enjoyed your blog. Very homey and warm. I love your quilts. That is my project in the coming year.
I have linked your blog to mine so that I can find it easily! http://newcreationcottage.blogspot.com
Have a blessed day.
Love the pink and yellow together!! A very wonderful graphic quilt -- love the stars and the flying geese! You should bring it to club so we can ooh and aah!!!
Blessings,
