Pink Dogwood
I remember a warm spring afternoon, many years ago, when our elderly neighbor sat Mac on a bench beneath the maple tree in her backyard and held a dogwood blossom in her hand. She shared the legend of the dogwood with him, and I listened intently as I'd never heard it before. Since that day, I've often been amazed that they bloom each year, just in time for Resurrection Sunday.

That is gorgeous! And that is Dark for pink Dogwood!
Thank you for sharing the photo...love it!
Beautiful! The buds on mine are so ready to pop open.
I don't know the legend!! When I was a child, we had a pink dogwood in our backyard. My siblings and I climbed it so much (cringe) that it eventually got weak and sick and my dad had to cut it down.
That's a beautiful photo - I wish I still had a dogwood in my back yard. . .
So Beautiful!!!
