The Slower pace of Autumn

 The slower pace of autumn makes it easier yet to stop and count my blessings.

From #201- 226, each one of them a true gift from God.

* the slower pace of autumn
* cats who chase mice
* time to sew
* a crochet blanket, almost finished
* and the young man who can't wait to snuggle up in it

* an older brother who teaches his younger sister her English lessons
* beautiful daisies in a field of dead grasses
* spending hours at the dining room table after the evening meal
* kisses from my children
* and their arms around my neck

* finding beauty where some might never see it
* warm autumn days
* no need for the furnace yet!
* the warmth of the fireplace
* lower grocery bills than ever thanks to the abundance that He provided during the summer

* water-plenty to drink
* much needed rains
* the kind that brings eternal life
* being washed clean by His blood

* men, working alongside one another
* friends, who are willing to teach
* a husband, who is eager to learn

* roses still blooming
* a community of women who are ready to embrace newcomers
* older women teaching younger women
* fellowship meals after worship on Sunday

Count with us?

holy experience
