Instant Gratification

I've got several larger quilting projects going on, but sometimes it's nice to have an easy finish. You feel me?

This little mug rug was just the thing I needed. I did finish it before Christmas, but I prefer to think of that tree as a simple pine tree, and not a Christmas tree. The colors match my living room and dining room perfectly, and I think it can be used year round.

This one is hanging around on my design wall just waiting for me to hand-stitch that binding down.

oh yes, I call these quick little projects sewing therapy.

Is your mug rug essentially a little potholder? It's cute.

Margo, Construction for a mug rug would be the same as a potholder. It's about 6 x 9 inches.
