It was a busy few days as I prepared for an event this past weekend. The kitchen exploded with pink confections to be served at a fashion show featuring breast cancer survivors as the models.
260 icing roses in various shades of pink and white topped mini-cupcakes.
Attendees stopped by my food table, and then went on to bid over items in a silent auction before entering the auditorium where they were moved to tears. Literally. The models exhibited beauty and grace, and their families gathered around them, showering them with love.

Hi Tracy - off topic, but I finally got The Daily Bean from the library and I'm enjoying reading it so much. I think I'm going to make the lentil meatloaf very soon.
