And the rain, rain, rain came down, down, down...

This has been the most rainy season in my memory, and all of a sudden the whole world is alive, green, and blooming. The heady scents of lilac and hyacinth hang in the humid air and intoxicate passers-by. Storm after storm comes, and shakes the windows, while rivulets run down the panes.

I love lilacs! Mine don't have many blooms this year...but I will savor the ones I have!

The thunder is rumbling here this morning. What crazy weather parts of this country have suffered through. Glad you are ok and enjoying beautiful flowers. We have loved seeing the loaded flowering trees around here. They are so full the branches are bowing.

How beautiful! Lilacs always remind me of my Memaw, they were her favorite :o) The weather here in NC has been crazy too... I'm hoping we will dodge the drought that has plagued us these past few summers. Hope you and your family are doing great! I know summer is always super busy for you guys, can't wait to see what your garden produces!
