The Project Linus workday was cancelled again due to the snow on the ground, so I thought it was time for a home work day. We (and I use that term loosely) worked to make a stack of blankets. I cut the fleece, straightening the edges.
Abigail fringed the edges of each blanket, then made a slight slit with a seam ripper, and pulled the back through the front of each piece of fringe. Collin did one blanket.
Collin did one blanket. Autumn made one fleece, and one rag quilt.
We finished 9 blankets, and kept quite busy-particularly Abigail. Whew! I sure hope that helps the cause.

Now that is a very good day's work!
Very nice!
At least Collin helped with one! Abigail's hair is so cute - she had to join in with you and Autumn and your short hair!
I love fleece blankets. I made one in college that I still use today (actually right now- ha!) What cause do you support?
Hey Jen,
We make and donate blankets to project Linus. You can read more bout them here: http://www.projectlinus.org/
Hi Tracy....
stopped by your place and see that you make tie blankets...Last Christmas I made 33 of these blankets for family gifts...
These blankets are so super WARM. I love them!
Needless to say...I just had carpal tunnel surgery on my hands...Hmmm, I wander if those blankets had anything to do with this..
Enjoyed your post
Blessings
