Busy in the Kitchen

Because I was chilled ( not sick, just cold!) from the moment I woke this morning, I decided to spend the day in the kitchen. What better way to warm up than standing by the oven, or over a hot stove?

Homemade yogurt, a big pot of hard-boiled eggs, homemade granola, supper, and chocolate chip cookies for dessert seemed like plenty to keep the kitchen warm. The only problem being that warm air rises and my feet didn't enjoy any of the heat. Time to put some socks on!

Wow do those cookies look good, Tracy!!! How many points in each one!?!? :-D Sigh. We are sock people (not barefoot, surprisingly enough), and I very nearly have to buy socks monthly for the boys, we wear them out so quickly (they don't make 'em like they used to). When the feet get cold, it's slippers ON TOP of the socks! :-D

Mary Lou
