The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

The monkey got finished. And she took it with her for a nap on Christmas day, which made me happy.

The cookies got baked, which made Grandma very happy! Collin, too!

Almost every one of the grandchildren were gathered in the home I grew up in, which made my mom and dad happy, too.

And this is our family, all except my niece Tessa, whom we all missed. As Verne pointed out this morning, "You all have some strong genes!"

We enjoyed seeing Verne's extended family as well. Great Grandma with our girls. Aunts, uncles, and some of the cousins gathered the day after Christmas.

1000 miles in 4 days. Too much driving, too much to eat, and lots of hugs and kisses. You can never have too many of those, though.

Glad to see the snow did not slow you down. These kind of trips make for great memories. Fun to share in the photos.

Such fun! Wow, that is a LOT of driving, but when it comes to seeing family, it is so worth it!
