A House Full of Laughter

Over the past four years, Mac and Autumn have hosted Christmas parties for their friends. Games have been played, gifts exchanged, food eaten. Since Mac is in college now, the torch has been passed. This year, it was Collin and Autumn who did the hosting.

More of the same, but with some fresh faces. A good time was had by all.

The best time, though, may have been had by the adults. Abigail and I were playing Scrabble when our friends Chip and Jennifer arrived to pick up their boys. Jennifer sat down and started to help Abigail. Mary Lou then arrived, and sat down to help me.

When we won the first game, Mary Lou cleaned up the tiles, shook the bag, and started a new game. What a hoot! Jennifer had to go, so Emily took her place. Just look at us, waiting in anticipation to play one of our high scoring words while the younger girls tread cautiously.

Yes, the party was a success!
