Eggs in a Stoneware Bowl
This bowl, which was given to me with a set of stoneware dishes before I was married, looks positively perfect holding our fresh eggs on the counter. The combination of blues and browns make my heart sing.
Each time I visit the coop I make sure to praise the "girls" for all of their hard work. They look at me adoringly and reply, "Cluck, cluck!"

What a blessing! Our chickens are molting right now, so their egg production has been real low!
Blessings!

I love the blue! We get beautiful brown eggs! Our chickens are molting right now too. I almost had to buy eggs... gasp!
Every Thursday morning, I do a basic houseclean for a family that live on acreage... and besides the money I get for this, they always bless me with a dozen eggs, laid by their own chickens. They taste sooooo good!! We even get a few bantam eggs, which are so little and cute.
I hope they keep having an abundance, because I don't think we can ever return to the store bought ones, even though I usually purchased the 'free range' ones, which still aren't the same as the ones given to me.
We are getting two chickens on Saturday from our friends...to get us started!
We definitely want the Easter Eggers...look at your pink egg!
so pretty. i'm thinkin' that the 2 large eggs were released with the girl(s) offering up a louder 'baaaak'. ;o)
they do look beautiful...and what a good MOTHER HEN you are to praise your girls....
