This, That, and the Other

I can't believe that summer is officially gone, and autumn is here. You'd never guess it by the weather. We've had hot days- in the mid 90's during the past week and I'm eager for the crisper temperatures. A few rainstorms have helped our grass to green back up, and have kept flowers blooming late into the season.

We have several weeks of school under our belts now, and all is going well on that front. Mac is back at college, and almost a fourth of the way through the semester. Autumn? She's a nanny now, keeping charge over three month old twins and a two year old. She spends her days snuggling babies and changing diapers, singing songs, and folding itty bitty pieces of laundry. And getting paid well for it- she has my dream job!

Today took us to the dentist where Miss Abigail had to have two teeth pulled. The adult ones were in, and the baby teeth didn't want to let go. Poor thing. She was a real trooper, though, I tell you, and never even winced! I thought that deserved a bit of vanilla ice cream. Don't you?

I'm still selling at the market, though it will wind down soon. I'm starting a new project, too! Upon emptying my bedroom to scrub the carpet I decided that the walls were in dire need of a new coat of paint. Several trips to the paint store, and I think I've chosen a new color scheme. I can't wait until the weekend when we'll get started. We're going to install chair rail, too. Now I have to find a new quilt. Or make one. Hmm...

Poor Abigail. Is her mouth still sore? Hope she enjoyed her well-deserved ice cream!
So what color did you decide on for your bedroom? Can't wait to see pics - maybe before, in progress, and after?
