I started out very enthusiastically, overjoyed with God's providence, and anxious to preserve it for the winter. Midway through them, I felt like I'd never get done. My hands felt like they were in a permanently curled position from all of the peeling. I'm so thankful for my many helpers: my husband, my children, and our neighbor. I could have never finished without any of them.
So, what do seven bushels of pears yield?

♥ 4 half-pints Vanilla Pear Jam
♥ 4 half-pints unsweetened Spiced Vanilla Pear Jam
♥ 9 half-pints Spiced Vanilla Pear Jam
♥ 9 half-pints Pear Honey
♥ 9 pints Caramel Spice Pear Butter
♥ 29 half-pints Caramel Spice Pear Butter
♥ 31 pints Diced Pears
♥ 42 LARGE individual portions Pear Leather
♥ 66 quarts Pear Halves
♥ Pear cakes
and LOADS of pears eaten fresh. And now, they are DONE!
