Machine Quilting

I took a class from Mary Lou a few weeks back to learn how to machine quilt, and I finally got brave enough to give it a try. It isn't perfect, and takes much longer than you'd think, but I'm so excited to be doing it!

It's such a great feeling of accomplishment to know that you pieced AND quilted it -- you'll be so proud when you are done... And those "mistakes" or less than perfect areas, I'll bet you'll have trouble locating them when all is said and done! Can't wait to see the finished product!!
Blessings,
Mary Lou

I am not as good at it as I would like to be, but I sure do enjoy it. Kind of like doodling with your sewing machine. Keep practicing and soon we will both be in the advanced category!

That is so awesome! Do you just use your regular machine?

Can't wait to see it finished!

good for you!! It's really different from handquilting - watch out for sore shoulders! Can't wait to see the finished product :)
