These last days of August are blowing by. Mac leaves for his second year of college in less than two weeks, and then we'll start school here at home. I don't know where the summer has gone.
you've been up to your eyeballs in canning, tending market and caring for your family. that's where the summer went! and what a joyous summer too, i'm sure!
beautiful sunflower. there are acres upon acres of sunflowers near us. at this point they're heads are hanging low from the weight of seeds ready for harvest. love it.
Tracy, Dan & I were just talking about how fast this summer is whizzing by! School starts in 2 1/2 weeks. :-( I do have to say that this has been one of the most enjoyable summers I've spent in a long time!

I have not been successful in growing any kind of sunflowers - I will keep persevering!
My summer has flown too - I thought it would be laid back and relaxing....it wasn't, but it was all good stuff!
Tracy, the Summer has gone in your kitchen LOL. Your time has been well spent, judging by all the things you have been making!!
Love this photo...
