Friday Sewing Circle

Each Friday morning, eight to ten ladies meet at the Farmhouse. We set up our machines, and talk, and sew. And eat. Food is important to quilters, you know. We take turns bringing a main dish or dessert. Today I brought each lady a piece of Easter chocolate, but that wasn't our real dessert.

Sometimes we're working on similar projects, like Bonnie Hunter's Orca Bay quilt. Other times, we work on projects unique to each one of us.

Today, Judy showed us a new way to sew a nine patch block.

I love Fridays. Next week we're traveling to the International Quilt Show; I can't wait!

What a wonderful way to spend a day! Where is the quilt show? Wish it were going to be here in Lancaster!
