November's Gone

The month flew by, and despite what my past few posts have shown, I've done much more than just quilt. ;-)

I've baked, and baked, and baked.

A nineteenth birthday cake for Autumn...

a cake commissioned for a 75th birthday party,

and cupcakes for Abigail's thirteenth birthday.

I've hosted a party,

and I've been to several basketball,

and volleyball games.

I welcomed Mac's girlfriend into our home for several days over their Thanksgiving break,

played games,
skyped with long-distance friends,

and cooked a feast.

I've witnessed more than one paper football game,

snuggled with Abigail,

and made time for Verne.

I've also made time to run several miles nearly every day, started Christmas shopping, and have been hired to cater a Christmas dinner for a local business.

The little bit of time I take to sew helps me to keep my sanity in all of this everyday life. Good thing, because December looks like it's going to be just as busy!

Loved all the pictures and your busy life. I gave up on the walking when the days started getting shorter. Maybe in the summer I can try again :o(

When bloggers go MIA, I always figure their lives have gotten very busy. Happy birthday to Autumn and Abigail! They are such pretty girls! Your son's girlfriend looks so sweet! Take care!

I have enjoyed visiting your blog, especially seeing your quilts. That is my goal in 2012 to learn to quilt and begin a quilt - even if I start out with a wall hanging.
