Omelette, Anyone?

Each and every one of the chicks that we bought in the spring is laying now. Despite the shorter days and cooler temperatures, the 15 of them leave us 11-12 eggs a day. We have placed a timer on a lamp in the coop to come on at 3:30 AM, and go off at 7 AM. It seems to be doing the trick.

Yummy! I love eggs. An omelet with your delicious looking salad on the side sounds like a perfect dinner.

Nothing like tricking the chickens ... ;o)

Those are some beautiful eggs!

What are you going to do with them all, besides omelets?

Beautiful eggs. Are you selling some of them? I can't imagine using 150+ eggs per week!

I am having egg envy ;0}

And thanks for the pattern thoughts! I was afraid you were going to say that, I may still try though. Thanks for reminding me about the shirt option!

oh my word. I think I would enjoy that abundance for a few weeks, but my stars, what do you DO with all of them? They're so pretty too.
