I'm so glad that I had the foresight to gather up all of the green tomatoes from the plants before ripping them out of the garden for the year. Collin and I gingerly placed them into brown paper bags, and set them on the kitchen counter to ripen. We have had fresh tomatoes for weeks now, and it's been such a blessing. I was really thankful for them when I made guacamole for the Project Linus potluck Tuesday afternoon. There's
nothing like a good garden tomato.
Yum.
