Pear-Raspberry Galette with Almond Frangipane


For the family's dessert, I threw some frozen raspberries in with the pears to add color, and some tartness.  Though it isn't pictured, our galette was served with homemade whipped cream, too. 



For the farmer's market, I made the same galettes, minus the raspberries, and sized them to fit in your hand. Personal galettes. And they were well received.

Yummy! I probably shouldn't have looked at this post before I ate breakfast because my little bowl of Fiber One is going to taste more like cardboard than ever. lol

BTW, you list of canning on the side bar is impressive, Tracy. You did a great job this summer!
