Our friend's bees, that is. We don't have any. Yet. This year was chickens. Perhaps next spring?
I've been talking about bees for quite some time now, and Verne seemed slightly interested. And then our friend invited us over. He taught Verne how to run the smoker. 
There's nothing better than up-close and personal education. 
Did I mention that Verne loves honey?
He does.
I think he's more than slightly interested now.
It takes Dan a while to catch up to my ideas too! lol

Thoughts of bee keeping have been flitting through my mind lately as well.
ReplyDeleteWe swear by local honey for seasonal allergies, and a friend of mine uses it as an antiseptic. In fact, I think I'll go have some honey now!
Oh, I buy local raw honey...it is the greatest!
