Just because the pears are finished doesn't mean the rest of the canning is. Habanero jellies are in the works. One with dried apricots. One with Cherries. One with pineapple. I wish you could taste them!

i'm doing jalapeno jelly on saturday. you might remember that i cooked my 1st batch down too much and it's fairly firm. hopefully not this batch - and it's a double. will be wearing a mask and working quickly as the pepper fumes really do a number on my breathing.
